At an empty restaurant, Peter tries to tell Osborn that he is not Spider-Man, but Osborn sees through his lies. He reveals that after saving Harryβs son, he began gathering potential Spider-Man candidates, eventually settling on Amadeus, Jeanne, Asha, and Peter. He offers his services to him, but Peter politely declines. Osborn leaves the door open just in case and checks.
